2014 SURI Program West Virginia University Center for Neuroscience

West Virginia University Center for Neuroscience will offer up to 15 summer internships of research-intensive training for qualified undergraduate students who are currently enrolled at a college or university in the US and have completed their second or third year.   Research opportunities incorporate molecular - to systems-level analyses of nervous system function, which include projects in the following areas:  Sensory, cognitive, and behavioral neuroscience; neural injury, including stroke; neurodegeneration; neuropsychiatric diseases.  Interns will conduct a well defined researh project under the supervision of a CN faculty member.   This is a 9 week program beginning May 27 - July 28, 2014.  Accepted students will receive a $4,000 salary plus housing in WVU-leased apartments on campus.   Application deadline is February 1, 2014.   Research awards to be announced as early as March 1, 2014.  For more information about the program, and to apply:
