10 Week Summer Internship - CDC's National Center for Environmental Health & The Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry

The NCEH/ATSDR are offering a 10-week summer internship program for students who are passionate about the environment, interested in human health, and curious about how they are linked. Interns will be based at CDC/ATSDR's Chamblee Campus and will be paid a stipend of approximately $600 a week during the course of the program. Program runs from June 13 to August 17, 2012. You must be a US citizen or be a Permanent Resident with a green card. You must be a full time student enrolled in a college or university as a rising junior or senior by Fall 2012 and have a minum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale). University of Delaware - Marine Science Summer Internship - Summer Research

The College of Earth, Ocean, and Environment, University of Delaware supported by a grant from the NSF's Division of Ocean Sciences is offering this REU program supporting 10 undergraduate students to conduct research in Marine Science. Minority groups underrepresented in Science are strongly encouraged. The program runs 10 weeks (June 4- August 10). Student support includes $5,500 stipend, campus housing and travel assistance. Virginia Tech Summer Undergraduate Research Program

With support from the National Science Foundation, Virginia Tech is offering another outstanding Summer Undergraduate Research Program this summer. Applications are being accepted in both the sciences and engineering on the topic of Design and Delivery of Polymer-Drug Complexes. Summer Undergraduate Research Internship (SURI) Program - West Virginia University Center for Neuroscience

West Virginia University Center for Neuroscience has an opportunity for undergraduate students to participate in their 10-week SURI program. The program will run from May 23, - August 3, 2012 and offers students a $3,000 stipend and $1,000 housing stipend. Summer Program at the Stowers Institute for Medical Research in Kansas City, Missouri

The Stowers Summer Scholars Program is a ten-week commitment for undergraduate science majors who will have completed 60 undergraduate credit hours with at least a 3.5 GPA. A stipend is $4,000, travel to and from the program and housing is also covered by the program. Applications will be accepted online until February 1, 2012.
