2014 Penn State Chemistry REU Program

The Department of Chemistry at Penn State invites highly motivated undergraduate chemistry and biochemistry majors to participate in chemistry research in an environment that embraces and encourages excellence and inclusiveness.  Funding is from the National Science Foundation and the 3M Foundation; students will work for ten weeks on chemical research with a group of research mentors conducting an independent project.  The program runs from May 22 - August 1, 2014.  The Application Deadline is February 14, 2014.  You must be a US citizen and permanent resident, juniors or seniors in Fall 2014 and a minimum GPA of 3.0.  If you have any questions, please contact the Department of Chemistry at 814-865-4041 or email:  reu@chem.psu.edu    To apply go to:  www.chem.psu.edu/reu
