University of Delaware 2013 Marine Science Summer Internship

Summer Undergrad Research Scholarship - Alfred I. duPont Hospital for

This is a 10 week paid scholarships are avilable for undergradute students to pursue biomedical research at the Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for children in Wilmington, DE.   Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.2 and interest in basic and applied sciences, health care, pre-med or related fields.   Program runs from June 3 through August 9, 2013.   On-line information and application:   www.NemoursResearch.org/Scholarship.   Application deadline is January 18, 2013.

Maryland Sea Grant REU Undergraduate Research Opportunity

This Program runs from May 19th until August 22, 2013 and offers a $6,000 stipend plus housing and travel suport to and from host institution.   Applications are due March 1, 2013.  For information or to apply, http://www.mdsg.umd.edu/REU; http://www.mdsg.umd.edu/programs/research/reu/apply/form/index.html   They are particularly interested in supporting talented students from institutions where access to marine science and to research projects is limited and who are from underrepresented groups in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). 

University of Nebraska-Lincoln Department of Chemistry
