Thomas Jefferson University Chapter of Sigma Xi Student Research Day

Thomas Jefferson University Chapter of Sigma Xi organizes Student Research Day every spring.   The main focus of this day is poster presentations by undergraduate, graduate and medical students.   The poster session offers students the opportunity for winning prizes, catching up on current discoveries in one's field, learning a new area of research, developing good verbal skills and networking.   This year the Student Research Day will be held on Wednesday, April 17th, 2013.   Undergraduate students are encouraged to submit posters of their research.   Follow this link to submit an abstract.   http://www.sigmaxi.org/chapters/web/index.php?chapter_id=156&page_id=371  The deadline for abstract submision is March 5th, 2013.   Abstract submission starts online on February 4, 2013.   Poster presentations will be judged by TJU scientists and cash prizes will be awarded for best poster in each research category.
