College of Graduate Studies at the SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York will again be offering the Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship Program. This program will run from June 10, 2013 through August 16, 2013 and is intended for students who are finishing their junior year and are good prospective candidates for careers in biomedical research. This program is designed and funded to attract students into Ph.D. or MD/PhD training as differentiated from straight MD training. The application deadline is February 15, 2013. Extra attention will be given to underrepresented students for this opportunity.
